Comme j'ai 4 jeunes Bronze Nigripen mon "rêve" introduire la mutation White Eyed chez ces Bronzes
Comment faire ? un éleveur canadien m'a proposé le cheminement suivant :
Okay, this is a good one. Which bird carries the white-eyed genes?
My suggestion would be to try and do two separate breedings. The first would be bronze x Blackshoulder. The resulting offspring would all look like Indian blue. You would have to breed siblings together to get the bronze Blackshoulder outcome.
The second breeding would be bronze with whatever white-eyed bird you wish to use. Repeat the process used in the first breeding, by breeding the resulting siblings to get bronze white-eyed.
After you have achieved both of these goals, then breed the bronze Blackshoulder to the bronze white-eyed, and repeating the breeding of the resulting offspring.
This can be done in less breedings if your Blackshoulder birds also carry white-eyed.
It's a long term project. The key is numbers, as odds are not in your favour. Hatch as many as possible when you're breeding the siblings together, but if you are tight on space, you may have to cull early ( with bronze Blackshoulder, if its not Blackshoulder, it's not what you want and you can tell the day it hatches. You then have to wait a few months to be able to distinguish between the resulting offspring)
I am currently trying to achieve Bronze Blackshoulder myself, and next season I hope to succeed, but
only time will tell.
Si Dani ou un autre éleveur intéressé voulait bien me traduire je lui en serais reconnaissant
D'avance Merci
